We are currently recruiting for the position of Refrigerated Trailer Mechanic for maintenance of our extensive fleet.  This position reports to the Garage Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of refrigerated trailers.
• Completion of relevant service records and other documentation.
• Complying with garage health and safety standards.
• Liaising with the garage administration team.

Requirements

• Familiar with standard practices and procedure for repairing transport refrigeration units.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must be able to work under own initiative.
• Enthusiastic and capable of working in a fast-moving environment.

Competitive salary for the successful candidate in addition to a Bonus Scheme.

40-hour week Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturday.
